Catch the small problems now, before the first cold
Night finds them.
A furnace can seem fine in October and quit in January. Our 18-point tune-up cleans, tests and safety-checks your system, then tells you in plain terms what’s in good shape and what needs attention.

Why a tune-up matters
Mild weather hides problems. The first cold snap finds them.
In the fall, a furnace only runs in short bursts. A dirty flame sensor, a weak ignitor or a clogged filter can go unnoticed until it has to run for hours on a freezing night, and that’s when it shuts down.
A yearly tune-up finds those problems while they’re small, usually cheaper to fix, and before the winter rush. It’s also when we check the parts you can’t see, like the heat exchanger and carbon monoxide levels, so you know the furnace is safe to run all season.

Furnace maintenance questions
How often should my furnace be serviced?
Once a year. Early fall is ideal, before you need the heat every day, but a tune-up any time is better than none.
Do I need maintenance to keep my warranty?
Many manufacturers ask for proof of yearly professional maintenance before they’ll cover a warranty claim. We keep a record of every visit, so you have it if you ever need it.
How long does a tune-up take?
Most take 45 minutes to an hour. If we find something that needs attention, we’ll explain it before you decide on anything.
What happens if you find a problem?
We show you what we found and give you the repair price. Nothing extra gets done until you say yes. If it’s a safety issue, like a cracked heat exchanger, we’ll explain exactly what it means and what your options are.
Do you service all furnace brands?
Yes. We tune up most makes and models, no matter who installed them.
Is a plan worth it over a one-time tune-up?
If you’d like the tune-up done every year without thinking about it, usually yes. The plan includes your annual tune-up, plus priority booking when it’s cold and discounts if a repair comes up.
